Southwark Schools Celebrate Food Heritage
We would like to say a big thank you to the four Southwark schools that raised £336 for FareShare at last week's Celebration Sale.
The Celebration Sale, the fifth addition to our Young Marketeers programme, saw schools bring along an array of delicious baked goods including Ethiopian bread, Jamaican fruitcake, French macarons and Italian biscotti that represent the students cultural diversity.
The money raised from the sale will allow FareShare to distribute 1,344 meals to vulnerable families across the capital. Watch our Young Marketeers in action on London Live.
Thank you Borough Market for hosting us once again and United St Saviour's Charity for continuing to support this wonderful project.

The Mayor of London is currently looking for feedback on many of his key strategies, and we believe that food needs to be at the heart of them.
One secondary and three primary schools from Southwark will be celebrating London’s cultural diversity at Borough Market tomorrow for the first ever Celebration Sale.
