A 'Soup-er' successful Winter Sale
Borough Market traders were given a run for their money yesterday when four local schools set up shop for the second year of the Young Marketeers Winter Sale.
With pots full of soup and baskets of freshly baked bread, the primary and secondary students showed off their selling prowess, raising a very impressive £494 for FareShare.
That means 1976 meals can be distributed to vulnerable families across the capital made from surplus food.
Thank you to our funders United St Saviour's Charity and to everyone involved making it the most successful sale yet!

Last Friday, 72 lucky children from four schools in Scotland headed out to Craigie's Farm to harvest fresh fruit and veg, as part of our Schools to Market programme.
We love the Department of Health's School Fruit and Veg Scheme and we'd love it more if it could be pesticide-free!
