Coming back from half term hols it was great to spot a lovely case study on the DH website all about our member school, Charlton Manor Primary.
Charlton Manor has been a member of SFM since 2012 and has enjoyed participating in a huge variety of SFM projects including Young Marketeers at Borough Market. They are trailblazers when it comes to food education and the mission to teach children about the value of tasty, nutritious food and food skills is led by the school's dynamic headteacher, Tim Baker. It’s back to school for most children this week and we’re delighted that lots of them will be getting stuck into our food education programmes.
Last Friday, 72 lucky children from four schools in Scotland headed out to Craigie's Farm to harvest fresh fruit and veg, as part of our Schools to Market programme.
