Holiday Food and Fun
As we prepare for our holidays, we want to celebrate the fantastic work of organisations supporting children with holiday food and fun activities during the long summer break.
We recognise that for some children during the school holidays, there is a vital gap in food provision that needs filling. Headteachers tell us that some children return to school hungry and unable to learn. The Childhood Trust have produced this very moving film to highlight the problem.
Community organisations, funders and campaigners are working on the problem and we have gathered together a list of organisations that can help. You'll find it within our Links section here. If you know of other projects in your community, please let us know.
